I am a qualified English teacher with a BA degree, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and a 120-hour TEFL certification, along with over six years of experience teaching English both online and in physical classrooms to learners of all ages and levels, including young children, teenagers and adults. I am dedicated to helping students grow in confidence and find their voice in English, whether they are total beginners, refining their skills, or working towards specific goals such as conversational fluency or travel English. I have also worked with learners who experience learning barriers such as dyslexia, adapting my approach to support their individual needs. My teaching style is interactive, dynamic and adaptable. I focus on developing all areas of language, including reading, writing, speaking and listening, with lessons that are personalised to each student's needs, interests and pace. With younger learners, I use TPR (Total Physical Response), toys, flashcards and other hands on tools to keep lessons fun and engaging. I create a calm, structured and welcoming environment where students of any level feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, learning at their own pace without being rushed or pressured. Teaching online has allowed me to connect with students from all over the world, each with their own goals, whether that is improving their English grades, gaining confidence for travel or everyday life, advancing their career, or simply enjoying the language for its own sake. Hi, ich bin Gloria, 24 Jahre alt und habe vor Kurzem meinen Bachelor in Business abgeschlossen. Während meines Studiums habe ich das Cambridge- und IELTS-Zertifikat gemacht, was meine Begeisterung für Englisch geweckt hat. Jetzt möchte ich mein Wissen weitergeben und Englisch unterrichten. Ich komme aus Kroatien, bin in Deutschland geboren, habe vier Jahre in Wien studiert und arbeite derzeit im Sales in Valencia, Spanien. Früher habe ich Klavierunterricht gegeben und hatte viel Spaß daran, anderen etwas beizubringen. Ich freue mich schon darauf, gemeinsam mit meinen Schülern und Schülerinnen an ihren Zielen zu arbeiten und ihre Fortschritte zu sehen :)! Ich habe an der FH des BFI Wien Business studiert, ein Studium, das sowohl auf Englisch als auch auf Deutsch abgehalten wurde. Im Rahmen meiner Ausbildung hatte ich außerdem die Möglichkeit, Russisch zu lernen. Meine Muttersprache ist Kroatisch, und schon davor war ich in einem Sprachgymnasium, was meine Begeisterung für Sprachen geweckt hat. Hi everyone! My name is Felix and I was born in Austria and have now been living in the UK for more than 3 years. I studied Acting at a University near London and have since moved into the big city. Back at home, I have a horse and I spend every free minute at the stable, doing all sorts of things horse related. At the moment I am building my career as an actor in London and Vienna where I am also teaching at an acting university. Having been to the UK but also having travelled quite a lot, I realise how important English as a language is and how exciting it is to know that no matter where in the world you are, you can always speak to locals, find the good restaurants ;) , meet and connect with the most interesting and diverse people you can find! Therefore, I hope to share my enthusiasm for this language with you! Even though, for most of us, it is simply a subject in school that we are required to pass, actually it is a skill for life and if one can learn that while passing with good grades... why say no?
