I’m currently a student studying biomedical engineering at university. I have been tutoring for 3 years and enjoy seeing my students progress and improve. I have taught students from primary to secondary schools. Helping students be more confident and improve in their subjects is always very rewarding. I’m a very patient tutor so students can feel comfortable to ask me multiple questions about topics they don’t feel confident in. Hi! I am Sanjana, an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge with a huge passion to work with students to aid them gain confidence in a wide range of subjects. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. My teaching style is mostly discussion-based - almost like Socratic questioning. I believe this helps ideas and concepts stay in your mind for longer, as the student is the one that has to do the intellectual heavy lifting.
