Hi! My name is Haleemah and I am currently an undergraduate studying Biomedical science at university. As someone who was once a student, reaching for help in areas which I struggled with in my subjects was always a challenge. Now I have the opportunity to support fellow students in a matter which would hopefully make them feel more confident in areas they find difficult or concepts they find hard to grasp. I teach primary maths, GCSE Mathematics and Sciences, and I also teach A-Level Biology and Chemistry. Since, I have already completed my GCSE's and A levels after 2017, my knowledge of the new curriculum is automatically up to date, and in addition to also doing a range of exam boards such as AQA, EDEXCEL, and OCR, my knowledge of exam boards and their method of examining is thorough as well. In my free time, I enjoy baking and cooking, even though sometimes my bakes may not turn out well, but I never give up! Hi, my name is Hinaa and I am an undergraduate student in my third year at Kings College London university studying mathematics with statistics. I achieved an A in maths and a B in further maths at A-level. I also have two younger sisters who I have helped tutor in various subjects for the previous years so believe me I have patience and best understand how to best help them learn. In our first session we will work through an exam paper together and I'll be making notes throughout on topics that you are feeling confident with and those that you struggle with. Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over a year. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style.
