Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning. I am now a second year medical student.

Lower level subjects: Mathematics, Sciences, 11+ GCSE: Mathematics, Chemistry I love mathematics and sciences and therefore being able to help others progress in these subjects is something I thoroughly enjoy. I have previously tutored in these subjects both online and face-to--face and have always received positive feedback for my use of tools, my positive attitude and my ability to adapt and tailor my sessions to each student. I love to play sports (particularly athletics) and try new activities such as learning new musical instruments and languages. I studied in Singapore for secondary and high school, so I am familiar with the British O level and A level syllabi, which are used in Singapore with minor variations. Currently I am studying social sciences in second year at Sciences Po Paris campus of Le Havre and the program is in English. My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions. I am an Aerothermal - Aerodynamics methods engineer for Rolls Royce Defence Aerospace and I work on solving complex equations and technology methods to accelerate future of high speed and space travel. I am graduate from imperial college London in advanced aeronautics, I am involved heavily in advanced mathematics and physics. I have tutored in further maths and maths for all exam boards and physics, including a programming tutorials society I used to carry out in university to help students expand on coding and solve problems instantly. I graduated from imperial college London in October 2021 and soon later joined graduate programme with Rolls Royce engineering and technology regime. I developed myself into a leading researcher and developer role where I flourished in making significant contributions to turbomachinary gas path Aerothermodynamics. I have worked with students who have learning difficulties, those who need extra support as well as those aiming for top grades. Above all, I try to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is not just to improve results, but to help students feel more confident, capable, and prepared for their exams. Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, graduating with First Class Honours in 2024.
