Hi, I'm Rafaela, a 19 year old university student who believes learning should be engaging and built on a genuine connection. I grew up in an international school abroad providing me with a diverse range of knowledge on different cultures as well as a broader perspective. At school I was head girl, providing me with leadership qualities as well as experience working with students from a wide range of year groups. When I’m not tutoring or studying, you'll probably find me at the gym with my friends, playing netball, reading a new book or baking something sweet. My hobbies not only bring me joy but they have taught me valuable lessons. For example, I have learnt both in and outside of school that practice does make perfect, and that nothing is impossible but instead sometimes a difficult journey to success. I have tutored privately for two separate families, for children ranging between 5 - 13 years old. I first started tutoring English in 2020 and have been on and off tutoring for 5 years. Other work i have completed before has also been children specific, babysitting and netball coaching meaning i have lots of experience coaching and working with a large range of age groups.

Hi I'm Katie. In my free time I like to be with my friends, as well as social events within university, such as out chem eng society! Also, I enjoy cooking and baking and coming up with new recipes and flavours, as well as sharing this to my friends; especially cakes! I'm currently a masters student at the University Of Birmingham studying chemical engineering.
