Hello! I’m a native Spanish and Catalan teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience and a BA (Honours) in Arts and Humanities, specialising in Spanish language and culture. I work with children, teenagers and adults at all levels. I help GCSE students who need support building confidence as well as those aiming for top grades (7–9). Hello! My name is Samantha. In April 2026, I graduated with a PhD in History and Politics from the University of Cambridge. My dissertation focused on nineteenth-century Italian political thought, and I successfully defended it with no corrections recommended. I have been a tutor since 2020 and a university supervisor and seminar instructor (for History and Politics) since 2023. I also have direct experience in university admissions, having conducted Politics interviews and managed selection processes at the University of Cambridge. Hi! I'm Michaelangelos, a mathematics graduate from the University of St Andrews (MMath) and incoming PhD student at the University of Glasgow. I've been tutoring maths for several years, including Higher and National 5, and it's something I genuinely love doing. What I care most about is helping students build real confidence and intuition, not just memorise steps. Maths can feel intimidating, and I get a lot of satisfaction from being the person who helps make it click, whether that's turning anxiety into understanding, or helping a curious student go further than they thought possible. I'm a recent grad from Warwick University, while I was there I enjoyed playing dodgeball, going for hikes and learning the guitar. I completed a BSc in Mathematical Statistics (with Computer Science) at the University of Warwick.
