Hello! My name is Samiya and I am a Clinical Sciences graduate . I have a strong background in chemistry and biology and love to learn new things! When I am not studying I enjoy volunteering and socialising, some of my hobbies include cooking and trying new food places. At GCSE I achieved 11 GCSEs graded A*-A and pursued 3 A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have just graduated from BSc Clinical Science . The basis of my degree is biology and chemistry, therefore I have strong knowledge within these areas and can teach both at lower school and GCSE.

I am currently studying Medicine at university and have three years of tutoring experience. I completed my A-levels during the pandemic, so I know first hand how tough online learning has been for many students, and how easy gaps in learning lead to lack of confidence in that subject. I myself have done the 11+ exam entrance exam, alongside a different entrance exam for my local Grammer school. The 11+ can be daunting, especially the non-verbal reasoning, but I believe this can be overcome during fun activities, such as puzzles and word games. Through my childhood I have loved completing word puzzles, I have many fond memories of doing word searches with my grandfather, suduko with my father and crossword puzzles with my grandmother. I believe this has broadened my perspective on life and allows me to problem solve more efficiently.
