Hi, my name is Aoife, I am 18 years old and currently a first year law student at the University of Leeds (and an aspiring human rights lawyer!). My special subject is English, primarily English literature. My highest academic achievements are my 3 A levels (A* in politics, A in history, B in English literature). I am willing to tutor the English subject to all year groups 7-11 in secondary as I believe this is when that extra boost in confidence is so important! My passion for English is reflected in my GCSE grades too - achieving a grade 9 in English language and grade 8 in English literature. I have previous experience with children with SEN needs such as autism and ADHD, shaping my teaching style as one of patience and prioritising clarity without exerting pressure on a student. I personally struggled with confidence in both primary and secondary school, and going through tutoring myself helped with this enormously. My personal hobbies include reading and creating artwork in my free time. I look forward to helping you/your child with English and literacy skills! For secondary school I attended Carr Manor Community school, achieving GSCEs all grade 7 and above. I excelled in humanities subjects, with a grade 9 in both history and English language and a grade 8 in English literature. My academic passion carried on into my A levels which I completed at Notre Dame Catholic VI Form College. I achieved an A* in A level politics, A in A level history and a B in English literature. I have gone on to be accepted to study law at the University of Leeds, a Russell group university. I remain open to constantly improving my skills and developing new ones and therefore significantly look forward to tutoring new students, sharing my knowledge and developing my own. I specialise in English and literacy, hoping to develop the skills of younger students to provide that extra boost in confidence.

Hi! I’m Gracy, a third-year Law student at the University of Warwick! I’ve been tutoring for over six years and love helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and reach their academic goals- whether that’s preparing for exams or simply feeling more comfortable with a subject. I tutor a range of subjects including English, Maths, and 11+ preparation, and I always tailor my approach to suit each student’s learning style and exam board. I’m passionate about seeing students thrive and grow in their abilities, and I genuinely enjoy supporting them throughout their academic journey. Creating a positive, encouraging learning environment is at the heart of everything I do. I attended City of London School for Girls for both Secondary School and Sixth Form, where I achieved strong academic results, including grades 9- 7 at GCSE, with a 9 in Maths, 9 in English Language, and an 8 in English Literature. I also achieved three A* grades at A Level in English Literature, Religious Studies, and Product Design. Having successfully gone through the 11+ process to gain entry to this highly selective school, I have first-hand experience of competitive academic pathways. I am currently studying Law at the University of Warwick, where I am predicted to achieve a 2:1. This academic background allows me to support students with both subject knowledge and effective study and exam techniques.

I also did my Teaching English as Foreign Language. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education Honours in Mathematics and Science Education. I’m now persuading my Master of Education in Mathematics Education with University of Pretoria. I’ve worked as an Education Assistant at Thathunyawo High School. I was teaching Mathematics grade 10, 11 & 12 Natural Sciences Grade 9. I also worked as an online teacher at International Schooling an online school based in Singapore, I was teaching Mathematics and Science Grade 7-12. I am now working as a Grade 12 Mathematical Literacy, Grade 10 Mathematics. My name is Charlotte and I am currently studying at the university of Lincoln in Dance (BA). I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential in English or Maths, which I studied and enjoyed in A-level. I believe everyone deserves a chance to reach there goals and do their best, and I hope to help you get there :) I attended NHGS, a grammar school in the North of England. While being there, I achieved 9 9’s and 1 8 at GCSE, and followed in getting an A in maths A-level and a B in English literature. I am currently studying Dance at the university of Lincoln after taking a gap year to work hard and earn money.
