I hold a degree in Elementary Education with a major in General Education, which has given me a solid foundation in teaching methods and linguistics. Hello! My name is Erin, I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Birmingham. As a tutor, my main aim is to quickly determine a students weaknesses, then create a dedicated study plan to help them improve in those areas. I believe that active recall, spaced repetition, and lots and lots of past paper questions - are the key to success! I am well versed in tutoring students of all ages; I have tutored various students ranging from ages 6 to 16 in a variety of different settings. I am also experienced in entrance exam tutoring. Having sat several entrance exams over my lifetime, I understand how to make a study plan that is both time efficient and effective, and how to utilise this study plan effectively. I have previously mentored students who wish to study medicine through UCAS, entrance exam and interview preparation; several of them currently study at top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge! In my spare time, I am a highly creative person - I frequently attend dance classes, I music direct/conduct my university choir, and I scrapbook! I also love to read :) Currently attending the University of Birmingham Medical School - 1st year, Medicine. Attended a top London Grammar school; where I achieved 10 A*s (Grades 8-9) at GCSE level, and 3 As at A level in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. In addition to educational qualifications, I also study the piano; I have completed my Grade 8 and am currently working towards my diploma in Music Performance!

My name is Niav, I’m a second year medical student. I love teaching, helping other students achieve their best to become a step closer to their dreams. I’ve helped my students achieve 8s and 9s for GCSEs. It’s a step by step process, but this time your not alone :) I completed my GCSEs in 2022, achieving all A-A*s, subjects including; biology, chemistry , physics (triple science), maths, english, creative imedia, Spanish, geography and more . I then went onto do A Levels in Core maths, biology, chemistry and psychology. Now, I am currently a medical student who is in second year.

My name is Samhita Andhavarapu and I'm a 1st year med student studying abroad! I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level I will be teaching A-Level Maths and Biology I have some experience in teaching both subjects when I used to mentor some students in high school with GCSE maths and Biology I am determined to prepare well before the class. Therefore, I will try to adapt my teaching style to the students needs and based on the best way that they learn. I got A's in both subjects at A-Level I got A's in Maths and Biology at A-Level. I received a 7 in GCSE Biology and a 9 in GCSE Maths and Further Maths. As I am now studying medicine at university I feel like my level of knowledge for Biology and Maths is strong. However, if I do not know something I will be prepared to learn and then help my student understand the concept of the topic.
