I believe that I'm a very positive person that has an enthusiastic perspective on life. I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals. If I can have some sort of positive impact on their life, I feel fulfilled and that I am doing my job well. As a medical student with over six years of tutoring experience and more than 5000 online sessions, I specialize in teaching the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English Literature and Language, Computer Science, History, Geography, French. My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each child, resulting in a high success rate for students passing these exams. I employ an adaptive teaching style that combines elements of dialogic teaching, scaffolding, and personalized instruction. Before each lesson, I meticulously prepare by reviewing the student's progress, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement, and aligning the content with their learning goals. This targeted approach enables me to provide effective instruction and address any gaps in understanding. Utilizing a range of resources such as textbooks, visual aids, online materials, and interactive exercises, I cater to diverse learning styles and maintain a stimulating learning experience. During our sessions, I prioritize active engagement, encouraging students to ask questions, seek clarification, and actively participate in discussions. By fostering a supportive environment, I aim to nurture critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deeper conceptual understanding. This approach, combined with my specialization in the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English Literature and Language, Computer Science, History, Geography, French, has resulted in a high success rate for students achieving their desired grade. Between lessons, I emphasize independent learning and practice, providing supplementary materials, recommending relevant resources, and suggesting exercises to consolidate knowledge. I expect students to take ownership of their learning journey, dedicating time outside of our sessions to review, practice, and apply the concepts learned. By doing so, they not only reinforce their understanding but also develop self-discipline and resilience, which contribute to their success in the targeted exams. In summary, my specialized tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English Literature and Language, Computer Science, History, Geography, French, combined with an adaptive teaching style, active engagement, personalized instruction, and a focus on critical thinking, ensures a high success rate for students passing these exams. With thorough preparation, interactive sessions, and a commitment to fostering independent learning, I strive to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in these specific exams. Together, we embark on a rewarding educational journey, achieving remarkable outcomes in these targeted examinations.

I am known by my peers to be a highly enthusiastic, young healthcare student with a positive attitude towards learning. I have a keen interest in helping pupils excel in their studies by making it easier for them to reach their goals through an adaptable teaching style to meet each student’s needs. Besides academia, I am someone who is passionate about learning languages, as well as playing sports like Badminton and playing guitar. I love trying new things and I am always up for a challenge that may come my way. At university, I was a student representative for 2 years, hence I have experience of being a leader.

I help KS3 and GCSE students build real confidence in Spanish — not just memorise vocabulary for the next test, but actually understand and enjoy the language. For the past seven years I've guided teenagers through reading, writing, speaking and listening, with lessons built around exactly what they're examined on (AQA specification). Before tutoring, I worked as a journalist — and it shaped how I teach: I break grammar down the way I'd break down a complex story, clearly and without jargon, always checking it's landed before moving on. My students consistently see their grades and their confidence grow together, because in my experience the two go hand in hand. 🎓 Certified ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) Tutor ✍️ Experienced editor for blogs, magazines and social media — which is exactly why my students' written Spanish improves fast 🏫 Former Assistant Professor, with solid classroom and academic experience 🌱 I specialise in building self-confidence, especially with students who feel anxious about exams or believe they're "just not good at languages"

A BEng Mechanical Engineering student from The University of Dundee who has taken A-level examinations before. I prefer mastery of concepts with the ability to employ knowledge to solve problems. I have experience with real-world engineering projects, as I am running an IMechE-affiliated aeronautical society where we develop autonomous drones for the UAS challenge. I have self-studied my A-levels, which comprise AS and A2-level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. As a result of this solo endeavor, I have become very familiar with discipline and time management. It has helped me develop a growth mindset. I'm currently in my 2nd year. I have received straight A's during my first year transcript and am projected to maintain that grade. I employ this knowledge and critical thinking extensively for my real-world engineering projects, which aim to develop UAV's to be competitive at the national level.
