Hello! My name is Anna Mai, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying to become an Early Years Teacher. In addition to my current studies, I spent three years studying abroad in the ITEPS International Teacher Education for Primary Schools programme. Studying and teaching alongside people from diverse backgrounds strengthened my communication, adaptability, and intercultural skills while deepening my passion for education. Alongside my academic background, I have gained extensive practical experience working with children. I currently work in a Montessori setting, where I support children's learning through child-centred, hands-on activities that encourage independence, creativity, and confidence. I also work part-time in afterschool care, assisting children with homework, organising educational and recreational activities, and supporting their social and emotional development. These experiences have allowed me to work with children of different ages, abilities, and learning styles, helping me develop strong skills in behaviour support, lesson planning, communication, and student engagement. I am passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and creating a positive, supportive learning environment where they feel confident to learn, grow, and succeed. I’m a patient and supportive tutor specialising IGCSE Edexel English Language and Chemistry. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, simple steps to help students build confidence and understanding. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals, whether improving grades or preparing for exams. I achieved A* grades on average in my IGCSEs, demonstrating a strong academic foundation across the sciences. During my studies at the University of Al-Jamea-Tus-Saifiyah, I regularly supported peers and younger students with their learning, helping them better understand key concepts and prepare for exams. I obtained two Degrees while studying in Al-Jamea-Tus-Safiyah Arabic Academy. Hello! I am a maths tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience. I enjoy helping students understand maths in a clear and simple way while building their confidence. I teach students from primary level to GCSE and A Level, focusing on strong fundamentals, problem solving skills, and helping students feel comfortable asking questions. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Mathematics, where I developed strong numerical and analytical skills. I also completed an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with Mathematics, which strengthened my knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and logical problem solving. This academic background allows me to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
