I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

Hi! I’m a university student with an A in A-Level Mathematics and a genuine passion for helping students build confidence in maths. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, whether they’re preparing for exams, catching up on topics, or aiming for top grades. I completed my GCSEs at Jo Richardson Community School, achieving qualifications in Mathematics, English, Combined Science, Geography, Music, Drama, and BTEC Business. I then completed my A Levels at the same school, studying Mathematics, Economics, and Geography, where I achieved an A in Mathematics. I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at university, where I continue to strengthen my analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills. My strong mathematical background, combined with my communication skills and patient approach, allows me to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

Hi! I’m Lucy and I am a Policy and Legislation Lead within the UK Civil Service. I have been doing this for nearly 5 years, following having studied at the University of Bristol. I studied BSc Management. In my spare time, I love playing and listening to music and being outside! I have a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Bristol. This included subjects such as business studies, economics, marketing, consumer behaviour and behavioural change theory. Before this, I studied four A-level subjects: Economics, Mathematics, Physics and History. I am currently working as a Civil Service policy advisor.
