I’m Ashwini! I'm currently doing a Masters in Natural Sciences specialising in Maths and Physics. I tutor online for GCSE and A-level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Combined Science. I love helping students get that “click” moment, turning tricky topics into something clear, confident, and even enjoyable! Lessons are high-energy but structured: we build understanding fast, practise the skills that earn marks, and get real progress. Outside tutoring I play piano, rock climb, train in the gym/boxing and enjoy art. I’m currently studying a Masters in Natural Sciences at Durham University, specialising primarily in Mathematics and Physics. My degree is highly quantitative and has given me strong problem-solving, clear mathematical communication, and the ability to break complex ideas into simple, teachable steps. This background means I’m particularly strong at teaching key GCSE and A-level areas where students often get stuck: building physical intuition in mechanics (forces, moments, energy, motion), vectors, and the maths that underpins progress: algebra, trigonometry, and calculus (differentiation and integration) taught in an exam-focused, step-by-step way. I also studied Chemistry modules in my first year, which strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to teach Chemistry clearly. I’m confident supporting students with the parts of Chemistry that often feel hardest: moles, organic chemistry, bonding and structure, equilibria, acids and bases, and practical-style questions where method matters. Overall, my education means I can help students not just memorise content, but understand it well enough to apply it confidently in exam questions.

Hi, I’m Caleb Jackson, a passionate and committed math teacher who enjoys guiding students through the fascinating world of mathematics. I aim to make math lessons engaging and meaningful by using interactive methods, practical real-life examples, and thoughtful problem-solving activities that help students grow in confidence and curiosity. I believe that when students feel comfortable and motivated, learning becomes both effective and enjoyable. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess, which helps sharpen my thinking skills and keeps my mind active and creative. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Mindanao State University, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Physics at the University of San Carlos in Cebu, which further strengthens my ability to connect mathematical theories with practical and real-world applications. My academic training allows me to design clear, engaging lessons, adapt to different learning styles, and support students in building confidence and achieving their academic goals.

I am a first-year Mathematics and Statistics student at the University of Warwick. I have been living in the UK for the past five years, where I completed my GCSEs and A Levels while born and raised in Hong Kong. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A Level, giving me recent first-hand experience to understand the challenges that student face. What makes me stand out as a tutor is my ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and approachable way and try to spark their interest in the subjects. My goal is to explain concepts methodically to allow students to understand and build confidence in the subject. My aim is to ensure that students grasp the reasoning behind each method while developing the fluency needed to apply their knowledge when required. I will try to tailor my lessons to each student's individual goals through encouragement, critical thinking while most importantly developing independent study habits that will benefit them throughout their education. In addition, my experience volunteering to teach mathematics to primary school students has shown me the importance of patience, encouragement, and building mutual trust. I have studied in the United Kingdom and I completed my GCSEs and A levels at The Manchester Grammar School. I studied the subjects English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, History, Electronics, Chinese and achieved 8 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s. I studied Mathematics, Further mathematics, Chemistry, Physics for my A levels and achieved 2 A*s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and 2 As. I have volunteered for 6 months in a primary school to teach maths.
