I'm currently a 3rd year student at the University of Pretoria, studying BEng in Civil Engineering. Completed my high school with distinction, and passed my 1st 2 years of University with distinction. I have been helping countless students for close to a decade, mainly on STEM field related subjects. I'm a youth cell leader at church. And I also love running. I completed my high school at Guyani High School, with 7 distinctions, then further my education in Civil Engineering at the University of Pretoria. I'm currently in my third year. My 1st year was mostly consolidation of the basics, which I found interesting, as I learned how to apply multidisciplinary subjects. My 2nd was introduction to engineering, and my third has been about applying the engineering principles to design structures that economical and safe.

I am a patient and supportive tutor with an Agriculture Management background. Passionate about helping students understand concepts step-by-step and build confidence and able to work independently in thier learning journey. In my spare time I like sports, music, adventures and reading. I look forward to meet you. I completed a Diploma in Agriculture Management at Potchefstroom College of Agriculture and I am currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Agriculture Management at the University of South Africa (UNISA). My studies include Agricultural Economics, Animal Health, Soil Science, Research Methodology, Agricultural Management, Computer Applications, and Crop Production. I also hold TEFL training and I am developing experience in online tutoring and academic support, focusing on patient, step-by-step learning and student confidence building.

I am currently a university student studying BA International Relations at SOAS, university of London. I grew my passion for teaching through helping my friends and classmates with revision and I enjoy explaining ideas by linking it to reality, making it relatable. I am patient, friendly, and aim to create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel confident to ask questions, develop their understanding, and build confidence in their learning. I am currently attending SOAS, University of London, and studying BA International Relations. My modules focus on politics and history, specifically from a postcolonial perspective. Sir George Monoux College Sixth Form, where I completed my A Levels in Sociology (OCR), Politics (EDEXCEL), and English Literature (EDEXCEL), in which I achieved grades AAB. Willowfield School (Secondary school), I completed my GCSEs here in the following subjects: English literature (7), Maths (higher tier-5), Combined Science (6-6), History (7), Citizenship (7), English Language (6), Drama (4), BTECH Business (MERIT) I also do Dutch short courses at King's College London. My specialities are in humanities and essay-based subjects, with a particular focus on structuring arguments, critical thinking, and clear written communication.

Hi there. James here, from South Africa. I taught in London in Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and then in Johannesburg and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa for a total of 21 years. I have taught Cambridge A Level History and England and South Africa's English and History curricula. I am also a published researcher, poet, and author. I enjoy cross-country running. I like NETFLIX mystery series. I regularly get out wilderness walking and cross country swimming. Since February 2025, I tutor English and Religious Studies for GoStudent. I battled with learning difficulties at school. However, I did very well after school, because I knew that English opens doors. So, I set goals. Then I achieved a B.A (1985) and a B. Ed (1996) degree, at Wits University in Johannesburg. I did a Masters Degree in Theology (Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., 2001) and a PhD in Church History (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2016). I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. So I'm still learning as I tutor GCSE students, A Level students, and juniors, to reach their highest goals.
