Debate training strengthens my logic, argument structure and explanation skills, allowing me to break concepts down and build them back up in ways students instantly grasp. I hold a full A Level in Mathematics and have completed advanced university-level mathematics modules that strengthen my analytical skill and teaching clarity. I am fully familiar with OCR, Edexcel, AQA and Eduqas, which allows me to prepare students with precise knowledge of each exam board’s structure, expectations and high-performance strategies.

Hey I am Si Yeun! I'm a PhD student researching heterogeneous catalysts, and I have 1 year of experience tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for GCSE and below students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GCSE period, I know how much of a nerve-wracking experience it is for both students and parents. With my lessons focusing on teaching based on the students' learning style, I hope to put those nerves at ease. Below is the list of subjects I teach and at which level. Obtained an upper second (2.1) classification for my BSc in Chemistry at Cardiff University. While my speciality is Chemistry on paper, maths and physics are integral to what I do in my current and previous research.
