Hi my name is Gabriel. I am a 28 year old 11+ tutor. I love helping students prepare for their 11+ entrance exams. I have a degree in English from Rhodes University. I have a passion for teaching and for helping others grow. I have experience with helping students prepare for the GL Assessment 11+ test as well as others such as the Sutton Boys 11+ test. In 2018 I enrolled in a Bachelor of the Arts at Rhodes University in my home country of South Africa. Rhodes University has the best Humanities Faculty and the best English Department in the country and so it was a natural choice for me as I intended to study English Literature. I completed my triple major Bachelor's in English Literature, History and Philosophy in 2020.

I began my academic journey at Claremont High School Academy Trust, where I achieved strong GCSE results, securing grades between 9 and 6 across all subjects. Building on this foundation, I completed A-Levels in History, Tamil, Psychology, and Religious Studies, achieving AABB. My passion for law led me to the University of Kent, where I graduated with a First-Class LLB (Hons). I have since completed a Master’s degree in Law, alongside the Legal Practice Course, and am currently working at a law firm, where I am on track to qualify as a solicitor this year. Alongside my legal training, I am also pursuing a diploma in Mridangam and currently hold Grade 7. My academic development has been complemented by extensive practical legal experience gained through internships, volunteering, and hands-on work within practice, giving me a strong understanding of both legal theory and its real-world application. I am currently a university student studying BA International Relations at SOAS, university of London. I grew my passion for teaching through helping my friends and classmates with revision and I enjoy explaining ideas by linking it to reality, making it relatable. I am patient, friendly, and aim to create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel confident to ask questions, develop their understanding, and build confidence in their learning. I am currently attending SOAS, University of London, and studying BA International Relations. My modules focus on politics and history, specifically from a postcolonial perspective.
