I am a calm, friendly GCSE and SATS English Literature and Language tutor who wants to help students grow in confidence and achieve the top grades. I have experience in tutoring primary school English, and now I want to take my passion for tutoring and teach GCSE and SATS English Literature and Language. I completed a 10,000-word project on the 2010 BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, analysing the systemic factors that caused the disaster and engaging with topics such as environmental regulation, corporate accountability and sustainability. This strengthened my skills in independent research, planning, structuring arguments and writing in a clear, persuasive style. I am now progressing to a Master’s in Social Science Research at Loughborough University, where I will be further developing advanced skills in essay writing, academic reading and detailed analysis. I also worked as an online teacher at International Schooling an online school based in Singapore, I was teaching Mathematics and Science Grade 7-12. I am now working as a Grade 12 Mathematical Literacy, Grade 10 Mathematics.
