Hi, my name is Jaismeen and I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering. I tutor Maths, Physics and Spanish, and I enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a clear, structured and encouraging way. My teaching style is patient and flexible. I like to break topics down step by step, check understanding regularly, and adapt my explanations depending on how the student learns best. If one method does not work, I try another approach, such as visual examples, real-life situations, practice questions or simpler explanations. I have previous experience tutoring children during summer breaks in my hometown, as well as experience babysitting and volunteering in local activities involving children and young people. These experiences helped me become organised, calm, responsible and supportive. As an Aerospace Engineering student, I have a strong background in Maths and Physics, and as a multilingual speaker, I also feel confident supporting students with Spanish. My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence, improve step by step, and feel comfortable asking questions. In my free time, I enjoy science, space, reading, writing, drawing, video games, hiking and learning new skills. I like bringing creativity and curiosity into my lessons so students can feel more engaged and motivated. I am currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester, where I continue to develop a strong academic background in Maths, Physics, problem-solving and technical subjects. I completed my previous education in Spain, from P3 through to Bachillerato, which is equivalent to A-levels. During Bachillerato, my main subjects included Maths, Physics, Industrial Technology and Technical Drawing, as well as Spanish, English and Catalan. I also studied broader subjects such as literature, philosophy and history of philosophy, which helped me develop strong communication and writing skills alongside my STEM background. I have a Cambridge English certificate at B2 level, which gave me access to study in English at university, and I am multilingual. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, Punjabi and Hindi, and I also studied French for three years at a basic level. My main specialisations are Maths, Physics and Spanish. I am especially confident explaining STEM topics clearly because I have studied them academically and also applied them practically. For example, while working in a local hardware store, I helped with tasks such as building and fixing appliances, making keys, and programming electric keys/controllers, which strengthened my practical understanding of technology and problem-solving. Outside of school, I have also taken part in robotics activities and I am involved in robotics at university. I have done theatre and participated in creative competitions, including creative writing, story writing, drawing and spelling bee competitions, which helped me become confident, creative and clear when communicating ideas.

My name is teacher dimakatso, I'm a certified ESL teacher, I hold a bachelor's degree in linguistics and my second major is English. I also have a 120 TEFL teaching certificate from TEFL Universal. I have been teaching English online for 4 years now. My teaching philosophy is student centered and interactive. I studied at University of Johannesburg from 2022 to 2025. I hold a bachelor's degree in linguistics and my second major is English. I also have a 120 TEFL Teaching certificate from TEFL Universal. I also have a certificate in student awareness and health from University of Johannesburg, I was volunteering as a peer educato, I completed short courses and recieved artificial intelligence certificate, a cyber security certificate. I'm currently studying higher certificate in cyber security at University of Johannesburg. I have been teaching English online for 4 years, I have helped students that wanted business English because of their work, they either wanted to improve their fluently or to conversate with their international clients. I have also helped students that wanted to improve their fluently and beginner.

As a current university student, I understand the challenges of academic work and exams. I hope to instil resilience and confidence in students by offering clear explanations, practical study strategies and focused support tailored to each students goals. My sessions are structured but friendly and help students feel comfortable whilst making real progress. I graduated Secondary School with 3 A Levels: English Literature (A*), Politics and Government (A*), History of Art (A) and and Extended Project Qualification (A). I am currently a student of the Dual BA Program between Trinity College Dublin and Columbia University meaning I am working on two BA degrees (one from each institution) simultaneously over four years. Both degrees are in English Literature but I hope to minor in History of Art for my Columbia degree.

Hello, I’m Isabella, I’m 19 and currently studying Journalism at the University of Sheffield. I will be tutoring children to prepare them for the 11+ exams. I completed my A-levels at Hills road sixth form college in Cambridge where I studied English, History, Sociology and completed an EPQ. I volunteer for action tutor and hope to help others with their studies.
