Before tutoring, I worked as a journalist — and it shaped how I teach: I break grammar down the way I'd break down a complex story, clearly and without jargon, always checking it's landed before moving on. I’m currently in my first year of Biomedical Science. I have a strong passion for the sciences, with an interest of sharing scientific knowledge with my peers and students. I have done my A levels Maths, Biology and Chemistry in the UK but I have a multicultural background as I moved from Italy. I used to spent my Saturday mornings teaching primary schoolers in Italy with additional learning needs. This choice was rooted by the fact that my own brothers have additional learning needs so that experience, combined with being multilingual (I can fluently speak in Hindi, Punjabi, and Italian), has shaped how I approach learning with patience making sure nobody is left behind. I want to become a tutor because it gives me satisfaction when I see students achieving their goals and see their self-confidence soar! I don't just want to teach subjects but I want to be a supportive part of their journey, helping them realize that no academic challenge is too big to overcome. I achieved my GCSEs (Maths, Physics, Combined Science, Philosophy, Latin, Italian Language and Literature, English, History, Social Sciences and PE) in Italy. After that I moved to the UK where I completed my GCSE in English language and Maths and an ESOL course at Tresham College in Corby. I continued my studies following my passion for the scientific subjects. I studied A level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, at the Corby Sixth Form, achieving a grade B in all three of my subjects. Currently I'm in my first year of Biomedical Science at the University of East Anglia. Additionally I also have completed an online course on careers available in the NHS and volunteered at my local hospital so I can provide mentorship for students interested in studying STEM degree and gain access in an health related career.

Je m'appelle Chloé (my name is Chloé) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Important : please note that I do not teach English anymore. Teaching Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the Arts of London (UAL) and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. I cam teach Art and Design GCSE students, particularly to give feedback on their portfolio. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. There I got the ESOL Entry 2 (NQF) and the IELTS ( grade 6.5) followed by the BTEC in Art & Design (equivalent to the bacalaureat) and then moved forward to a Fine art BA at UAL. Currently, I am in my third year of BA at Les beaux Arts of Paris ; where the French literary level is very high and sustained. In other words, I'll be very comfortable in both language to give you the clearest French lessons and to support you all along throughout the learning path you're taking!

I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Having recently completed GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand current exam specifications, common pitfalls, and effective revision strategies. My teaching style is supportive and tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building strong foundations, confidence, and exam technique. I aim not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their independence, motivation, and long-term love for learning. I am currently studying Medicine at University College London (UCL), a highly academic and research-led medical school. I attended Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a disciplined approach to learning. Throughout my education, I consistently achieved high academic standards, particularly in Maths and the sciences. At A-level, I achieved 3A*, reflecting both my subject knowledge and my ability to manage a demanding workload. I also achieved full marks in my EPQ, which strengthened my independent research, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. This project required analysing complex information, evaluating evidence, and presenting clear, well-structured arguments—skills that are directly transferable to both medicine and teaching. As a current medical student, I continue to build on this strong educational background through rigorous study and application of scientific knowledge. My academic journey has equipped me with excellent organisation, resilience, and communication skills, which I bring into my tutoring by delivering clear explanations, structured lessons, and tailored support to help students achieve their full potential.
