Hi there! My name is Omasiri, and I am a second-year LLB Law student at the University of Brighton. I teach GCSE History and Sociology, and I teach English from KS2 to GCSE. For GCSE exam boards, I am strictly AQA only. I believe that teaching should be fun and personalised so that everyone has their best chance at succeeding, as every person experiences and processes things differently. I studied 7 GCSEs and 1 BTEC at The Aylesbury Vale Academy. Now I am a law student who finished their first year with a 2:1, striving to graduate with a 1st and go into being a solicitor or work within the legal sector of large business firms.

Having grown up in Spain for half of my life (15 years) I have always had a passion for languages and travel. I speak English and Spanish bi-lingually and so decided to undergo a career change from sales and marketing to a career in teaching languages as I believe they are so important. I want fulfillment in my career and the opportunity to meet people who are more like-minded sounds very exciting. I believe I am a passionate tutor, professional and fun with good energy and a positive outlook on life and look forward to the challenges ahead. I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. It also helped me become more patient, understanding, and connected to the real challenges students face. I’m very interested in learning more about education and social issues. I like reading books and doing my own research because I want to improve not just as a teacher, but also as a person. I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. Hello, I am a stop motion animator and aspiring filmmaker based in Scotland. Stop motion has allowed me to focus on my passion for storytelling and combines my love of literature, theatre and art.
